It was on December 16, 2011 that the Museum realized one of its projects to the very ambitious: opening of a Museum Pole in the historic city of Évora - World Heritage Site (UNESCO-1986). This cultural project has as its main partner the INATEL Foundation, which owns the facilities - at the Barrocal Palace, on Serpa Pinto Street, 6, right next to the famous Giraldo Square.
The Évora Pole Clock Museum intends to present itself as a visiting card of the main Museum in Serpa, thus stimulating the tourist flow in the Alentejo. In its collection there are more than 600 mechanical watches from sec. XVIII to the present day.
Over the years, it has held exhibitions and events in partnership with numerous public and private entities, which has attracted thousands of visitors / tourists to Évora.
The Museum is open to new partnerships and challenges...
